A Travel on Dream Planet!

An Exquisite Experience

They say, it all started in 1570.  Around hundred years before French established their East India Company in India. They believe it is rich and traditionally pure. They claim it as the Capital of Europe during this season. They smell the native aroma for few weeks through this. And there is an Evergreen Coniferous tree. It has been standing there since middle ages.  It has witnessed empires rising and plummeting to ashes and seasons of extreme Sun and snow. Even now. it is adorably green when entire vegetation here just shriveled to temporary nakedness. Thus, it is adorned with colors. It stands like a princess embellished for her wedding. The pretty shops around giving the touch of sheer festivity.

The Christmas, the Christmas Market & the Christmas Tree, in one word, is absolutely Charismatic here in Strasbourg! The Northerly winds wheeze through the region covering it with dull clouds and occasional rains. Days just slip away quickly opening the stage for delightful nights. From nowhere, some divine breeze swooshes away the clouds making the night cold and crisp. The art of beautification is mastered with finesse here. Whole city opens her arms to one of its kind decoration and celebration. Tourists swarm in thousands. Hot wines satisfy warmly the dried throats. Carols reach crescendo.  Cameras click in unison. Local businesses reach new heights. Life unfurls to magnificent experiences.

So, here is a collection of those experiences. Slow shutters creating magical frames and sometimes catching them in their unique beauty. A few & new pieces from a memorable month of ‘dazzling lights and dancing lights’!
